Overview
KartHub is developed and operated by KartHub LLC, a South Carolina company.
KartHub is designed to help kart racers plan where to race. The app does not require users to create an account or provide a name, email address, or driver profile to build a race plan.
Information KartHub processes
When you use KartHub, the app may process:
- Race-plan information, including the track, class or classes, and tire category you select.
- Plan timing information, such as when a plan is created or updated and the race weekend associated with it.
- Anonymous app or device identifiers used to maintain one active plan per device for a race weekend and help prevent duplicate submissions.
- Basic technical information processed by our service providers to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the app and website, such as IP address, browser or device type, app version, and diagnostic logs.
KartHub does not use the app to collect precise location, contacts, photos, payment-card information, or advertising profiles. If you choose to open directions, your device may open a third-party maps service governed by that service's own privacy policy.
How information is used
- To create, save, display, and update race plans.
- To show aggregated participation information by track and class.
- To prevent duplicate race-plan submissions and protect service integrity.
- To operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve KartHub.
- To respond when you contact KartHub for support.
How information is shared
KartHub does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help us host, secure, and operate KartHub, including Google Firebase. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Data retention
Race-plan and technical information is retained only as long as reasonably needed to provide KartHub, maintain accurate weekend participation information, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Information may be aggregated or de-identified so it no longer reasonably identifies a device or user.
Your choices
Because KartHub V1 does not use user accounts, there is no account profile to access or delete inside the app. You may request help concerning information associated with your use of KartHub by contacting us. We may need reasonable details to locate the relevant record without collecting unnecessary personal information.
Children's privacy
KartHub is intended as a race-planning utility for racers and racing families. It is not designed to request personal information from children, and V1 does not include accounts, profiles, chat, or direct messaging. If you believe a child provided personal information to KartHub, contact us so we can review and address the request.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as KartHub changes. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest revision.
